A Replacement Bride

After years of absence, the Cornell Family suddenly reached out to Katherine Cornell to return home as a replacement bride. Yet, she grew restless as she refused to allow her identity as a hotshot to be anonymously eradicated. She swore that she would fight the man to the death and acted out thereafter. The first was her attempted drowning, which he claimed she would survive. The second was her purchase of non-profitable companies, which he treated as his investment. The third was her request for a divorce, which shocked him.
